Robert Downey Jr.: Women care about Iron Man more than all the other superheroes

According to Robert Downey Jr., women care about Iron Man more than all the other superheroes put together.
The star of "Iron Man 2" told reporters at the film's premiere in Los Angeles Monday that Stan Lee, co-creator of the comic book character, received more female fan mail for his mechanical hearted character than for all his other superhero creations combined.
"[It's] probably because he's a bit more vulnerable and reminds them of their snotty boyfriends that they wish to calm down," Downey Jr. said.
"We didn't necessarily design it that way. I think part of it was always in the fabric of the 'Iron Man' story."
Downey Jr. made a stylish appearance on the red carpet alongside co-stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson.
While the women dressed all in white, he added a splash of color with red tinted sunglasses and a deep blue suit (complete with white corsage).
Early reviews of the film concede that while Jon Favreau's blockbuster is not as sparkling as the first installment, it will do.
