Bret Michaels Suffers Brain Hemorrhage

Bret Michaels (born Bret Michael Sychak, March 15, 1963) is an American singer, best known as the lead vocalist of the glam metal band Poison. Besides his career as lead singer, he has several solo albums to his credit, as well as one chart single. He has also starred in the VH1reality show Rock of Love with Bret Michaels and its sequels, and as a judge on the talent show Nashville Star. He was also a contestant on NBC's reality show Celebrity Apprentice 3.
Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital late Thursday night after suffering a massive hemorrhage near his brain stem, this according to a rep for the singer.
Michaels is reportedly in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital. According to the rep, Michaels was suffering from excruciating headaches earlier in the day.
Michaels underwent several tests, the rep says, including CAT Scans and MRIs.
Michaels suffered from a "subarachnoid hemorrhage" -- bleeding at the base of his brain stem.
Earlier this month, Michaels was rushed to the hospital after experiencing stomach pains -- he ended up having his appendix removed.
